Jennifer ComeauJennifer Comeau peels away our tough layers and shifts us to a better place with her captivating stage presence, wit and grace. Her engineer’s mind and poet’s heart intermingle in a smart, soulful set of songs that can best be described as buoyant folk and blues. Jen’s earliest years in Buffalo, New York, were irrevocably influenced by the poignant Irish folk music of the 60’s, laced with the saucy R&B music of the 70’s. Jennifer has written all of the songs on her debut CD, "Feed the Tribe". As a collection, they capture the duality of life -- its beauty and its messiness; the cosmic and the comic; what both stirs and saddens us.
For her performance at the Coffeehouse she will be supported by talented musicians Mickey Roache (lead guitar, mandolin); Jim O’Neil (percussion); and John Comeau (bass).
