and feel even more inspired to perform at our very best level. Your audience was outstanding!" Carl Bradford - Port City Jazz (Sept. '06)

Katherine Rhoda has a passion and a gift for engaging and connecting with her listeners. Whether sharing a
traditional ballad, a rollicking instrumental, or a piece of humorous social satire, she brings a lucid and refreshing quality of intelligent,
respectful, open-hearted presence to her work. In the face of so many forces that separate and isolate us, her goal is to be joyfully subversive, drawing her listeners into an experience of contact, ease, mutuality, gusto and Big Fun.

The Zulu Leprechauns are an eclectic folk-rock group that plays a mix of original and familiar music, incorporating styles from West African, rock & roll, bluegrass and folk. Their own songs are balanced by covers of such artists as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Lou Reed and Robert Johnson, among others. Striking vocal harmonies are supported by unusual instrumentation that includes electric dulcimer, djembe, violin, banjo, 6 string bass, guitar, doumbek, conga, shakers and cymbals.

Zhok Therapy is the unruly alter-ego of the Casco Bay Tummlers. Expanding klezmer boundaries to include Greek, Balkan, and Middle Eastern music, Zhok Therapy will remedy whatever ails with their cross pollinations. Adding influences from jazz and blues, their deep grooves and improvisations are both innovative and well rooted in a rich and varied ethnicity. With Carl Dimow on flutes and guitars, Steve Gruverman playing clarinets and saxophone, Julie Goell, bass and vocals, & Hayes Porterfield, percussion, Zhok Therapy will be joined by special guest Mark Tipton on trumpet.

Jud Caswell lives where the two Maines meet: where ex-hippies play cribbage with fisherman and a kind of rural poetry is infused with Yankee gumption. Recognized by Sing Out! magazine as "one of the leading singer-songwriters on the current scene," Jud has won the legendary Kerrville New Folk and Boston Folk Festival song contests. His song Blackberry Time is being taught in the songwriting curriculum at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Denny has a dazzlingly clean, clear and rhythmically perfect guitar style, that reveals influences from many genres: country, folk, jazz, rock and blues. His songwriting is in the contemporary folk style, but without the confessional self-importance of many of today’s songwriters. Breau writes about life in Maine, life in general.
Over the years, Denny has garnered numerous awards from the Maine Country Music Association. He earned Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Instrumentalist of the Year so many times that he was eventually retired from the running with an All-Time Greats award.
